The Gecko B-EXT-COM-RS485 is an expansion board that adds an RS-485 communication port (P83) to the Gecko in.ye V3 series spa controller. Without it, the V3 series controller cannot "see" the heat pump.

The board serves a single purpose: connecting the Gecko in.temp heat pump to the in.ye-V3 controller. Once connected, the pump is controlled directly from the spa keypad—temperature, heating modes, and energy-saving settings appear in the standard menu, eliminating the need for separate controls.

It is installed inside the controller onto the RS-485 terminal blocks on the circuit board. No additional power supply, wiring, or separate housing is required.
